There’s just nothing that can compare with it! A good night’s sleep can make you feel like you are on the top of the world.
Without it we go after some source of available caffeine to give that extra “oomph” to keep going. Seems like the busier we are, the more we have to work at sleeping. Sleep becomes something we do so that we can do all the other things we “need to do”.
On those occasions when we fall into a peaceful slumber how sweet it is! This photo of our two week old grandson makes me want to take a leisurely nap, but probably not lying in a basket by the dining room window with someone taking a photo of me! A nap in a hammock with a gentle breeze and the sound of the waves in the background sounds delightful. The reality is that my next nap will probably be on the couch with the TV volume turned down low and the ceiling fan gently blowing on me.
